Terms of Service

By using BariqTech Fatoora you agree to these terms. The Service provides ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing for businesses registered under the Saudi VAT regime.

Our commitments

  • Maintain high availability of the API and web portal, with scheduled maintenance announced in advance.
  • Submit invoices to the ZATCA Fatoora portal promptly; queue and retry automatically during ZATCA outages.
  • Retain your invoice data and audit logs for the statutory period required by Saudi VAT regulations.
  • Allow you to export all your data (PDFs, XML, audit logs) at any time in machine-readable format.
  • Encrypt data in transit and at rest, and apply security patches regularly.
  • Provide tickets-only support per your plan tier.

Recommended practices

  • We recommend providing accurate VAT registration and business identity information to ensure smooth compliance.
  • For security, please keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Please use the Service in accordance with applicable laws.
  • We encourage you to review invoice content before submission.

Fees & billing

Fees are billed monthly or annually per the plan you choose. No card is required to start; billing is enabled later from your dashboard. Invoices are issued in SAR. Late payment may result in suspension after a 14-day grace period.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including ZATCA penalties arising from incorrect invoice data you provided or failures of the ZATCA Fatoora portal.

Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice. On termination you may export your invoice data for 30 days.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

This SLA covers availability of the BariqTech Fatoora API and web portal, and our support response commitments for paid plans.

Availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the API and web portal. Scheduled maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance is excluded. If availability falls below this target, you may be entitled to a credit per your plan's terms.

Support response times

First response to tickets by plan: Business and above — within 1 business day (Sunday–Thursday, 09:00–18:00 Riyadh time); Basic plan — best effort, as quickly as we can.

Privacy & Data Processing

We act as a data processor for invoice data you submit. You remain the data controller for all personal data contained in your invoices.

Data we collect

  • Business identity: VAT number, CR number, national ID, organisation name.
  • Invoice data: line items, totals, buyer information, PDFs, XML.
  • Usage metadata: IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps.

How we use data

  • Generate, sign, and submit ZATCA-compliant invoices.
  • Store invoices for statutory retention.
  • Provide support and platform analytics (aggregated, anonymised).

Data storage & transfers

Invoice data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Your rights

You may request export, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required by Saudi law or ZATCA compliance.
